Important issues to discuss in the near future: Official job title, official job description, collaboration of our Society with the Board for highly specialised medicine, concerning for example ECMO therapy, the role of the perfusionist during interventional cardiology etc.

Jolanda Consiglio created the topic: Name our profession
Jaïd, HUG perfusionist, thought an other name for our profession: clinic specialist in cardiac and ciculatory assistance.
For him, He likes the term of specialist because it' s more Professional and serious than perfusionist.
Noboby knows what is the job for the perfusionist.
He thinks that there is more value with the term of the specialist to negociate the salary.
What do you think?
